Why We’re Ditching ****** and Rolling Back to Twister

by | Jun 20, 2025

Year one, we rolled with Twister. The machines showed up, did their job, and we were golden. The next few years we messed with a bunch of setups thinking we could improve. We tried it all. For a while, ******, had our attention. The machines looked pretty and felt like the right move. But a couple years deep? We’re over it. Done.

Keeping those ****** lines alive is a full-time hustle. They break down like clockwork, and every time we think we’ve got it fixed, something new veered us sideways. Last year, we couldn’t breathe in our trim room. We dumped a pile of cash into tearing out the cloth dust filters and running all that exhaust outside. Ducting, fans, valves – you name it. I’m out here throwing money at repairs and fixing their known issues like it’s going out of style, and for what? The results are no better. It’s a constant drain. Time, energy, and cash. Gone.

It’s frustrating. You invest in a setup thinking it’ll take you further, and all it does is hold you back.

In 2023, we connected with a few growers on the West Coast rocking T-Zero PROs.

“The Zero is our no-downtime piece of equipment”.

“We have over 8000 hours on this thing”.

So, last year, we circled back to what worked – Twister. Only now, we’ve stepped up from 2 T2 lines to a T-Zero PRO. From day one, Twister’s gear has been solid and reliable. No drama, no money pit – just machines that run, keep running, trim clean, and keep us moving. Exactly what we need.

Sometimes the flex isn’t chasing the newest thing. It’s sticking with what actually works.

We’re back with Twister. And we’re not looking back.
